Hey! My name is Jaylin. As far as I can remember I’ve tried to be good at everything I do. Soccer, basketball, academics, making friends.. but throughout the years it felt like I was doing this more for other people and less for myself, that was until I began writing. Writing made me feel alive. I could venture into different worlds and escape from reality.. but I also finally had a place to pour my heart and soul out. I grew up a Christian my whole life, but I never really felt that important until God showed me my gift of writing. Soon writing became poetry, painting, drawing, photography, and so much more. Everything I made and wrote was not to please other people. I felt like for the first time I didn’t need to prove myself through my creativity. I am so excited to share the words that God gives me and to be able to use my gift for God’s will. I am very lucky to have gone through so many different experiences, good and bad, and I hope you will find me as someone who isn’t afraid to talk about the deep stuff.
