Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.
Ephesians 4:26-27 (KJV)
Do you ever get angry? I do. What does the Bible say about anger? In this verse, the Bible says not to sin when you are angry. If the Bible says not to sin when we are angry, we had better listen.
It is okay to be angry at times, but when? You can be angry when God’s Word isn’t purposely disregarded but be careful not to sin. It becomes sin when you let your anger control you. When this happens, you start yelling and acting in rage instead of the Spirit.
How do you make sure that you don’t sin in anger? Pray before you get out of control. Ask God to help you. Thank Him for what He has done. When I thank God, I feel better afterwards.
Today is Facing Friday. I encourage you to face your anger. Ask yourself, “Is this godly anger?” If it is pray to God to help you control yourself. If it is unrighteous anger, rebuke it in the name of Jesus. Then pray to God to help you control yourself. Pray to God as the anger goes away.
Enjoy your Friday!
THANK YOU! GOD BLESS YOU! AND GOD BLESS AMERICA!
